Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War are entering into a climactic sixth season which will bring multiple additions to both titles.

Season 6 of Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War has been revealed alongside the new season’s roadmap. Major updates for both games have been releasing in tandem since the launch of Black Ops Cold War. With the impending release of the series’ next installment, Call of Duty: Vanguard little more than a month away, Season Six looks to usher in a new era for Call of Duty.

Call of Duty: Warzone delivers large-scale battle royale action, while Black Ops Cold War is a more traditional installment in the iconic shooter franchise. Both titles have received simultaneous seasonal updates over the last year, ensuring that the Call of Duty franchise remains consistent in both gameplay and narrative developments. Season Six appears to continue this trend, with a climactic confrontation brewing between Black Ops Cold War hero Adler and Warzone‘s mysterious antagonist Stitch. The fiery conclusion to this ongoing story will result in changes to Verdansk and an updated Gulag, among other large content additions and changes.

The Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War Season Six roadmap has been officially revealed via the Call of Duty blog. For Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, this October 7 update will introduce three new multiplayer maps titled Deprogram, Amerika and Gluboko. The game’s Zombies mode will also be receiving an epic conclusion, with the final map, Forsaken, closing out the undead narrative ahead of Vanguard‘s own Zombies mode. Finally, additions to both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone include five new weapons, new Prestige levels, and reoccurring series protagonist Alex Mason as a playable operator.
