A recent Instagram post shows popstar Dua Lipa rocking an outfit themed after Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece. The popular manga is known for having high fashion represented throughout its characters and has collaborated with fashion brands like Kappa in the past, so it’s only fitting the pop superstar would wear the new outfit during Milan Fashion Week.
Popular manga One Piece was first serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1997 and follows a group of pirates known as the Straw Hats who are in search of the treasure known as the One Piece. Luffy is the captain of the Straw Hats with stretching abilities and plans to become the Pirate King. The series has been in publication for over two decades, recently celebrating its hundredth volume – which was released in Japan earlier this September – and becoming the longest-running manga series to date after hitting its thousandth chapter back in January. Sadly, Oda has also made it known that the series is gradually approaching its finale, even as Netflix prepares a live-action adaptation.
