Now that your iCloud profile is front and center in iOS 10, perhaps it’s time to swap out your plain old initials for an actual photo. That way, everyone can see your smiling face when interacting with you through iCloud, iMessage, AirDrop, and other Apple services.
First things first: you need a good photo. If the photo is already on your iOS device, then you’re all set. If not, you’ll want to save an appropriate picture to your iOS device or take a new one. For profile picture purposes, you want a clean and clear shot of your face, a relatively neutral background, and something that will look good cropped into a circle.
