Sabrina the Teenage Witch star Melissa Joan Hart reunited with the iconic voice Salem for a celebratory new video. Hart cast a spell over the world as Sabrina Spellman in the hit ABC sitcom for seven seasons. The series centered on the young witch as she balanced going to high school with her supernatural life. Created by writer Nell Scovell, the show was based on the Archie Comics story of the same name.
While diehard fans have been wishing for a reboot, the property received a dark and angsty Riverdale-rendition in 2018 with The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Though the Netflix show certainly stood on its own, it paid several homages to the original, going as far as to have Sabrina’s original sitcom aunts Hilda (Caroline Rhea) and Zelda (Beth Broderick) guest star. CAOS even had its own version of Sabrina’s feline friend Salem, a character made famous on ABC by voiceover actor Nick Bakay.
