Omega Voice Actress Teases Work On Bad Batch Season 2

Michelle Ang – voice actress of the young clone Omega in Disney+’s animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch –teases what’s in store for season 2 with a picture of herself in a voice recording studio. The titular Bad Batch (A.K.A. Clone Force 99) are an elite unit of genetically modified clones who made their first appearance in Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 7. Earlier this year, Lucasfilm released The Bad Batch as a standalone series spinning off from their debut in The Clone Wars. Lucasfilm confirmed that The Bad Batch will return for season 2, which is expected to air sometime next year in 2022.

The show introduced audiences to a mysterious new character named Omega who, throughout the course of the series, is gradually revealed to be a perfect, unmodified clone (apart from her gender) of the legendary bounty hunter, Jango Fett (Temuera Morrison). Omega’s inquisitive nature and sibling-like dynamic with the Bad Batch immediately endeared her to fans, making her one of the standout characters of the show. In many ways, her relationship with the squad’s leader, Hunter (Dee Bradley Baker), is the emotional heart of the entire series.
