Beginning October 7, Universal Studios Hollywood will ask visitors to present either proof of vaccination or a recent negative COVID test to enter.
Beginning next week, Universal Studios Hollywood will require either proof of vaccination against the coronavirus or a recent negative COVID-19 test result for entry. The film studio-turned-theme park attracts millions of visitors to Los Angeles every year who come for film-themed rides and shows like The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Jurassic World: The Ride. The studio re-opened on April 16, 2021 after closing its doors for over a year during the pandemic.
THR reports that Universal Studios Hollywood will begin asking visitors to present either vaccine proof or a negative COVID test performed within the standard 72-hour window. Vaccinations are considered admissible “a full 14 days after final dose was administered.” The new rules apply to guests who are 12 and older. Universal will enforce the new policies beginning on October 7. In addition to the new requirements for entry, Universal Studios Hollywood is also returning to its former mask guidelines. Masks will be required both indoors and outdoors for all guests in the park regardless of vaccination status.
